Things Seniors should have done or began to do:

  • Applied to college(s)
  • Take ACT/SAT ASAP
  • FAFSA completed https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/fafsa
  • Create an apply Texas profile www.applytexas.org
  • Resume for scholarships Recommendation letters
  • Schedule college visits
  • Find out what you want to major in Develop a plan for your major

Helpful tips for seniors:

  • Memorize social security number/driver’s license number
  • Start a list of passwords for various websites
  • Get a binder/journal to list dates and keep scholarship info in
  • Make sure if you’re planning to attend a 2-year university that the credits will transfer
  • See which test (ACT/SAT) is better to take for your major. I.E. nursing-ACT English teacher-SAT
  • Check your email often
  • And last but not least, make each memory count, we only have 7 months left
